Dale of Norway has released their new official sweathers for the Norwegian winter athletes. They have also launched a new collection for 2016, with more neutral casuals for everyday use, in addition to the classics and traditional garments. The owner and CEO Hilde Midthjell emphasized that Dale are still true to their principles on producing all clothes in Norway, in the local factory in Dalekvam. Dale has prodused Norwegian sweathers since 1879. 

Athletes Kjetil Jansrud, Aksel Lund Svindahl, Nina Løseth, and Erik Brandsdal were all present in their official sweathers, and they are all looking forward to the upcoming season. 

Lillehammer is hosting the 2nd Winter Youth Olympic Games in 2016. Across 10 days, February 12.-21, 1 100 young athletes (15-18) from 70 nations will compete in 70 medal events. New and innovative events will be introduced. Athletic performance and joy of sports is in focus, but culture and learning will also be essential parts of Lillehammer 2016. Kjetil Jansrud has been appointed ambassador by the International Olympic Committee. He expressed how important is is to develop healthy attitudes among the young athletes, and how the youth olympics is a great arena to do this.
