Eskil Vogt’s debut feature film Blind has won the World Cinema Screenwriting Award for best screenplay at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah. Blind participated in the competition along with eleven other international films. Vogt has received great reviews by American film critics with his debut. The film is about Ingrid, played by Ellen Dorrit Petersen (Troubled Water, 2008) who has become blind and because of this refuses to leave her apartment. Eskil Vogt has prevuously aroused both audiences and critics as a screenwriter with the films Reprise (2006) and Oslo, 31 August (2011), which was shown at the Cannes Film Festival.
Blind premiers in Norway February 28th.
