The director is responsible for planning and developing Norgesskolen on a yearly basis. During the school, usually twelve employees work at Norgesskolen: six teachers, five activity leaders and the director. The number of employees depends on how many students that attend.

The employees stay at the school during the two and a half weeks and live in dormitories on campus. The teachers are responsible for the morning song gathering and Norwegian classes, while the activity leaders are responsible for the culture hour, the activity hour and the camping trip. All employees will have specific responsibility for a group of students within the dormitories.
