Members of Nordmanns-Forbundet / Norwegians Worldwide gathered for a nice Annual Meeting on June 11 at Villa Grande. Håvard Sandvik was elected a new board member, after Sverre Myrli stepped down. See photos from the event here.
President Inger E. Prebensen welcomed everyone to the Annual Meeting and Council Meeting on June 11, 2018, that took place in parallel for the first time.
Secretary General Hanne K. Aaberg presented the key points from the annual report 2017 and the financial statement. She mentioned, amongst other things, that it was a record year for Norgesskolen with nearly 100 participants, and that the organization had a historically low deficit, albeit the organization’s economy continues to be challenging.
Rasa Ziburkute was presented for the Annual Meeting as the new leader of Norgesskolen. The election was held at the end of the meeting, with Sverre Myrli stepping down as board member, and Håvard Sandvik being congratulated as a new board member.
